Yes, all Hawaii Pharm products are natural and don't contain any chemical additives. They don’t contain GMO, gluten, artificial colors, heavy metals, preservatives, pesticides, fertilizers.

Hawaii pharm products are not standardized liquid extracts (tincture) that represent the full-spectrum of the original plant.

The company uses 40-60% alcohol and vegetable glycerin so the final products contain about 25-35% of alcohol.

Glycerin is an integral part of all fats and oils of animal and vegetable origin. Glycerin is very sweet, has soothing properties and is therefore ideal for children and non-alcohol users. Glycerin has good preservative properties, extracts nutrients and minerals from plants.

Alcohol and alcohol-free products are equally effective. The main difference is that alcohol-free version doesn't contain alcohol. The solvents are only glycerin and water. The extracts based on glycerin are sweetish because of the natural property of glycerin. Such extracts turn out to be rather sweet even though there is absolutely no sugar in them. Moreover, tinctures based on alcohol have longer shelf life (about 5 years) than glycerite extracts (about 3 years in the fridge).
