Eleuthero, Astragalus & Reishi Herbal Blend Alcohol-Free Liquid Extract
This is a blend of three botanicals extracted together. Eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus) is a bristly deciduous shrub of the Araliaceae family from the forests of eastern Siberia and northeastern China; the woody root is used. Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) is a perennial legume of northern China and Mongolia, with pinnate leaves and pale yellow pea flowers; the long taproot is lifted from plants four or more years old and sliced lengthwise. Reishi (Ganoderma lingzhi) is a polypore fungus of the Ganodermataceae, growing on hardwood stumps in East Asia, forming a fan-shaped bracket with a varnished red-brown surface and a corky white pore layer beneath.
The raw material is ethically wild harvested, or grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. Extraction is by classical maceration at the lowest practical temperature, in a base of vegetable glycerin and purified artesian water — glycerin and water are the only solvents. The product contains no alcohol, no added sugar, no preservatives and no artificial colours. Its mildly sweet taste comes from the vegetable glycerin itself.
Every incoming batch is tested in our own laboratory to confirm botanical identity and consistency, using HPTLC fingerprinting and FTIR spectral analysis, alongside microbiological screening, viscosity and refractometric measurement. Quality control is guided by USP, Ph. Eur., ISO 17025 and cGLP standards, and a certificate of analysis is available for every batch. Produced at an FDA-registered facility in Honolulu, Hawaii, and shipped from our EU warehouse.
